Our story

Our story begins with a simple truth: in Réunion Island, when you come to eat… you need to be well served! We use local, high-quality ingredients—fresh vegetables, sun-ripened fruits, and spices that warm the heart. Then we said: “Hey, why not make a vegan version of this?” The result: curries, rougails, and little delights that make your taste buds dance without harming any animals. Here, we cook with a smile, generosity, and a touch of madness. Because at the table, what really matters is simple: good food, lots of laughter, and leaving with a happy stomach!

And if you’ve already been served twice, it’s not our fault… it’s just our way of showing love! Every pot sings, and every plate arrives with a touch of sunshine inside it. So sit back, enjoy a fruity alcohol-free punch, and let our flavors celebrate in your mouth!

Our chef

Our chef, a true Réunion woman and mother of three children, is able to manage the kitchen, life, and the whole family’s appetite without breaking a sweat! Committed to healthy, clean cooking and respect for nature, she cooks with her heart… and also with a magical touch of her spoon. A passionate traveler, she brings back flavors from all over the world in her suitcase, then blends them with our local ingredients to create sparks in the pot. At her place, even chickpeas earn a degree—they turn into crispy falafels! Her talent is so great that even the pot would ask for an autograph. In short, a chef who loves her island, delights everyone, and never lets anyone leave hungry!
When she enters the kitchen, the vegetables line up in order and the spices start dancing maloya. Even the curry behaves itself when she watches over the pot! If you taste her cooking, be careful: you might end up calling her “chef” all week long. And if you ask for the recipe, she smiles… but the secret stays well kept at the bottom of the pot!

Our cuisine

Our cuisine is a true journey without even taking a plane! In our pot, Réunion Island invites the whole Indian Ocean to the table: a little wink to India, a touch of Mauritius, a hint of China, and of course all the island sunshine in the middle. Here, flavors talk to each other better than a family WhatsApp group! We mix spices, colors, and fresh local ingredients to create vegan dishes so tasty that even carnivores look at their plate and start to doubt. Caviar lemon quinoa salad from the island, nasturtium flower pesto, tangy “zévi” pickles that wake up the taste buds, spicy soy skewers, chapati stuffed with sautéed vegetables, crispy chickpea falafels, lentil steaks from Cilaos… Here, even vegetables have an international career! Every bite is a celebration, every dish is a little maloya dance in your mouth. Be careful though: after a meal like this, you might feel like licking your plate in public!
